The ideal candidate will be experience in providing diverse basic care while remaining patient and calm.

Pay Rate:

$35.00 Per Hour. Schedule will be discussed at time of interview. Duties and Responsibilities Record a patient's medical history accurately Supervision of CNA staff; responsible for control medication counts Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc. Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc. Monitor patients' condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts Assist patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing, etc. Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, etc., clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks Completes all documentation

MAR / EMAR

nursing notes immediately following administration of care Ensure all work areas are clean Collect samples for lab testing as assigned Provide emotional and psychological support when needed Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions Communicate with PCP, and other health care providers to apprise of change in condition, emergent situations. Ensures all medications are ordered in timely manner for pharmacy.

Requirements:

• High School or equivalent •

Nursing:

2 years (Preferred) • BLS Certification (Preferred) • Current and valid Nursing License Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and able to handle stress Fully COVID vaccinated (must provide proof) and will comply with any /all future vaccination requirements. Fully complies with all DOH / Catholic Health requirements concerning standard precautions. Successful completion of RN license program Other duties as assigned.
