In this dual role, you will champion our staff's professional growth—leading orientation and CNA training—while overseeing facility-wide infection prevention in compliance with NYS DOH regulations.
Key Responsibilities Educate & Train:
Develop and lead staff training, orientation, and NYS DOH-compliant CNA certification programs.
Infection Control:
Manage facility-wide surveillance, safety protocols, and infection prevention practices.
Mentor & Collaborate:
Partner with leadership to create engaging training materials, assess program success, and provide clinical coaching to staff.
Stay Compliant:
Maintain expert knowledge of healthcare regulations to keep our team skilled and safe. Requirements Active, unblemished NYS RN license. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (at least 1 year in long-term care or rehab). Strong knowledge of NYS DOH regulations regarding nursing education and infection control. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
