Clinical ResponsibilitiesMonitor and coordinate healthcare services for individuals attending Day Habilitation programsConduct nursing assessments and health reviewsCommunicate with physicians, specialists, pharmacies, and interdisciplinary team membersReview medical documentation and physician ordersAssist with medication and treatment oversightSupport health-related goals and person-centered outcomesRespond to health concerns and provide nursing guidanceNurse Educator ResponsibilitiesTrain and mentor Direct Support Professionals and program staffProvide health-related education and coachingSupport compliance with OPWDD regulations and Agency policiesAssist with competency validation and skills developmentPromote best practices in health services and person-centered supportsWho We're Looking ForYou are a nurse who:

Loves teaching and mentoring othersEnjoys building relationships rather than rushing from patient to patientValues teamwork and collaborationWants to work in a mission-driven environmentIs passionate about improving the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesBelieves nursing is about both clinical excellence and human connectionQualificationsCurrent New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licenseStrong clinical assessment and communication skillsExperience in developmental disabilities, community health, education, long-term care, case management, or related settings preferredKnowledge of OPWDD services is a plusValid driver's license preferredThe Best Part?
