Schedule/Hours:

6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Floating to other units as needed

Qualifications:

Current active NY RN license (and all RN licenses), verified via Nursys Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience with some pediatric exposure Prior travel nursing experience required Current AHA certifications:

ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS TNCC

certification (must be in hand at submission) Drivers license with matching demographic address

EPIC EMR

proficiency Charge capability highly preferred

Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled nursing care to patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Respond rapidly to acute emergency conditions, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun Float to appropriate departments as needed and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
