Job Description AHRC New York City is looking to hire a Per-Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for their Home Care division . This position will report to the Director of Nursing and the Associate Vice President of In-Home Programs. The Per Diem Nurse will be primarily responsible for helping meet the training needs of the license home care agency; supervise, guide, teach and evaluate HHA's; assist in evaluating medical screenings/clearances for staff; cover HHA incidents; and advise on OSHA and other medical issues within the Department.
Schedule :
9am-5pm...21 hours per week.....Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Conduct Home Care Assessments for new cases and reassessments for ongoing cases Development of plans-of-care, coordinate with physicians for approvals Supervision of HHA and PCA staff in the field Pre-service training for HHA's In-service training for HHA's Participate in Quality Improvement meetings/Board Meetings Monitor Health assessments and medicals of HHA's (including drug screens, Doctors notes, Hep. B vaccinations, etc.) Conduct Clinical Competency/Skills of HHA's Qualifications Must be a licensed RN in New York State. Experience with the IDD population, preferred. Experience as HHA, preferred.
