Registered Nurse•Emergency Department (ED)
Location:
Norwich, NY Shift:
Days | 3x12-Hour (7:00 AM•7:00 PM)
Duration:
13 Weeks (36 Hours/Week)
Required:
Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) License . BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications. Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience . Epic EMR experience. Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). Strong critical thinking, communication, time management, and patient assessment skills.
Job Details:
Day shift: 7:00 AM•7:00 PM, 36 hours per week . Every other weekend required. Assess, prioritize, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency department patients across a wide range of acuity levels. Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, medication administration, IV therapy, emergency interventions, and continuous monitoring. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate timely, patient-centered emergency care. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and disease management. Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.
