Contract Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment while ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements:
Active New York RN License required Minimum 2 years recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience required Previous travel experience required Current AHA BLS certification required
EPIC EMR
experience required Skills checklist matching specialty required NURSYS verification required for all active RN licenses Driver's license must match candidate demographics RTO must be included at time of submission Local candidates accepted (within 75 miles at local rate)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans Administer medications and treatments as ordered Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly Document all patient care accurately within
EPIC EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients and families regarding treatments and discharge planning Maintain patient safety and infection control standards Support admissions, discharges, and patient transfers as needed For more details reach at dparmar@navitashealth.com
