42.5Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner•Oncology for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with attending physicians to provide comprehensive patient care Perform detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within inpatient settings Provide oncology-related care and support (preferred specialization) Document subjective and objective findings, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and timely in the medical record Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and results Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and care plans Utilize prescriptive authority in collaboration with supervising physicians Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care delivery in an acute care environment Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines Required Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in New York State required Oncology experience strongly preferred Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required Inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred Current CPR and ACLS certification required Eligible for or possession of Medicare NPI number required Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to function independently in a fast-paced acute care setting For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
