Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy Gastroenterology and Endoscopy team. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures, including colonoscopies and esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGDs). This role requires strong assessment skills, procedural nursing experience, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care throughout the pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery phases. Key Responsibilities Assess, prepare, and monitor patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Assist physicians during colonoscopy and EGD procedures. Administer and monitor procedural sedation according to facility protocols. Provide pre-procedure education and post-procedure recovery care. Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Ensure proper documentation of patient assessments, medications, and procedural outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards. Participate in patient recovery and discharge planning. Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals. RN01 Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of Endoscopy, GI Lab, or Procedural RN experience. Active New York state Registered Nurse (RN) License. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification. Experience assisting with Colonoscopy and EGD procedures. Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Pay:

$2,350.00 - $2,480.00 per week
