"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in Adult ICU and CCU settings. Candidates will be assigned to specific critical care units based on clinical background and departmental needs. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong critical care experience, trauma center exposure, and the ability to excel in high-acuity environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients Perform detailed patient assessments and ongoing monitoring Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans Administer medications, blood products, and treatments according to physician orders Operate and monitor ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment Recognize and respond rapidly to patient condition changes and emergencies Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams Accurately document patient care activities using
EPIC EMR
Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Float within critical care service lines based on competency and patient care needs
Required Qualifications:
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License and Registration Current BLS Certification Minimum 1.5 years of recent Critical Care experience within the last 2 years Experience in an acute care hospital setting Previous experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Legal authorization to work in the United States Ability to pass required health screening, drug testing, and background verification
Preferred Qualifications:
EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience Experience with high-acuity ICU and CCU patient populations Advanced critical care equipment proficiency
