RN - L&D - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high‑performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process.

Job Function :

Night Shift. 3x12. Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care Apply and inter.ret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection‑control standards Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care

Job Requirements:

Active New York State RN License NRP - Advanced

BLS NCC C

‑EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring 3+ years of current Labor & Delivery experience Experience in a high‑risk OB setting Strong background in managing obstetric emergencies
