Months Schedule:

39 hrs/week | Rotating 13-hour Day/Night shifts (6am-7pm / 6pm-7am) Includes weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback as per unit needs.

Unit Overview:

16-bed acuity-adaptable Pediatric Cardiac Care Center caring for critically ill pediatric congenital cardiac patients. Advanced Practice Providers function as primary covering providers and should be comfortable managing complex congenital heart disease cases in a fast-paced multidisciplinary ICU environment.

Patient Population & Clinical Exposure:

Pre- and post-operative pediatric cardiac surgery patients High-risk single ventricle physiology Open chest management Arrhythmia management Vasopressor support External/internal pacemakers

VA/VV ECMO CRRT

Adult congenital heart disease patients PICU boarder patients with critical care needs

Ideal Candidate:

Seeking an adaptable and collaborative APP who thrives in a high-acuity critical care setting while working closely with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams. Must-Have Requirements Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience as an APP Strong knowledge of complex cardiac anatomy and physiology Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner Active New York State RN License Active New York State NP License Current National NP Certification BLS Certification (AHA) PALS Certification (AHA)

Preferred Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification Pay:

Up to $145.00 per hour
