Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PACU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a skilled RN with experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings to provide high-quality recovery care for post-operative patients. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical knowledge, a calm presence in fast-paced environments, and a dedication to patient safety.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year of recent experience in a PACU or similar critical care environment BLS and ACLS certifications (current) Strong assessment, monitoring, and communication skills Ability to respond swiftly to changes in patient condition Proficient in electronic medical records documentation
Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients for complications, pain control, and overall recovery Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams on individualized patient plans Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as needed Support patients and families by explaining recovery processes and postoperative care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided Uphold safety protocols, infection control standards, and ethical nursing practice Provide compassionate support, prioritizing patient comfort and wellbeing This is a contract opportunity, offering hands-on involvement with patients recovering from surgery and the chance to work alongside expert surgical and anesthesia teams in a collaborative care environment.
