Schedule/Hours:

Travel position with flexible assignment dates

Responsibilities:

Conduct intake assessments and gather comprehensive case histories Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans Make nursing diagnoses and propose appropriate treatment recommendations Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Administer and monitor psychotropic medications, noting all patient responses Coordinate additional medical treatment as needed Educate clients about emotional wellness and treatment acceptance Ensure a safe, secure environment for patients and staff Monitor and address patient pain, documenting vitals and treatments Maintain patient confidentiality and thorough medical records Complete administrative tasks including documentation, phone calls, and data entry Provide courteous, high-quality service and referrals to patients and families

Qualifications:

Current, valid NY RN license BLS Certification (AHA only) Telemetry proficiency Minimum two years of nursing experience
