Wound Nurse Duties Include:

Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurse on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times. Responsible for oversight of the facility and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Maintain nursing guidelines are appropriate. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing support to residents, families, and employees. Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods. Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy. Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents. RN Supervisor /

Wound Nurse Requirements/Qualifications:

Current and valid RN (Registered Nurse) license Active CPR Certificate Point Click a Plus Wound care certification desired Excellent communication skills Experience in LTC is preferred but not required. Positive attitude and a team player

Salary Range:

Up to $125,000
