Qualifications/Experience:
Valid, unencumbered RN license Minimum one year of recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care for patients before, during, and after IR procedures Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes Monitor vital signs, maintain IVs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies as needed Document all patient interactions and procedural details accurately Educate patients and their families regarding IR procedures and recovery processes
