NYS-McPike Addiction Treatment Center-in Utica, NY Travel Rate:

55 hourly at 2200 weekly and 1245 NOT taxed

Local Rate:

52 Hourly at 2080 weekly RN Behavioral Health/Psych Days or Nights - Full TIme and Part Time --Available for

Immediate Hire Length:

13 weeks but can be up to two years

HOURS :

5 8 hour shifts, but may consider 4 10's or part time Day Shifts 9 AM to 5 PM or Night Shifts 11 PM to 7:30

Utica, New York (Oneida County)

Psych RN Description :

Administer Medications and maintain inventory standards for medicines. Review the overall health condition of youth by preparing and continually reviewing and evaluating plans of nursing intervention to ensure that such interventions are consistent with specific and comprehensive treatment plans. Participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports and function as a member of a treatment team. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview. Must have some psych or behavioral health experience

Psych RN Duties:

The Nurse must provide nursing care with established guidelines and procedures to individuals with conditions and treatments that are non-critical. They will perform medication administration, patient assessment, follow ordered treatment plans and provide emergency care as needed. They may provide clinical supervision to paraprofessional and direct care personnel to which they are assigned. You will also participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards and function as a member of a treatment team.

RN Psych Experience:

Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Valid RN license in NYS. Experience in a Psych or Behavioral Health or Addiction Treatment facility setting is preferred but not necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential. A commitment to providing compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
