Per HR Description:
Join a dynamic healthcare team providing essential care in Internal Medicine. This contract position, based in Uniondale, requires a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver primary care, including patient assessment, treatment, and care planning. The role involves a standard weekday schedule, ensuring comprehensive patient support and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
Provide primary care including assessment, treatment, and care planning. Support implementation of organizational programs and procedures. Collect and analyze data to adjust processes as needed. Maintain licensure and engage in ongoing education. Educate and support patients in self-care management. Coordinate outpatient work-ups and treatment plans. Monitor and document patient status while awaiting transport.
Qualifications:
Completion of nursing training from an accredited school. Current New York county Registered Nurse license. 1-2 years of experience in Medical Practice/Primary Care, Med-Surg, ER, or Occupational Health.
