Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery for a 13-week contract at MVHS Inc. in Utica, NY. This role requires strong clinical expertise in maternity and obstetrics care across all stages.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care in Labor & Delivery (L&D) Manage patients through antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages Assist with OB/GYN procedures and C-sections Provide care for newborns Maintain accurate patient records using Epic/Stork EMR Float to Mother/Baby or other units as needed (support role if outside scope)

18 3 Triage Beds 2 Antepartum Beds 2 ORs (C-sections) 3 Recovery Beds 8
L&D Beds Patient Ratio:
1:1 2
Requirements:
Minimum 4 5 years of Labor & Delivery experience (REQUIRED) Active RN License (NY or Compact) Certifications required:
BLS ACLS NRP
Experience with Epic/Stork EMR (REQUIRED) Must be comfortable working both day and night shifts

Must live 75+ miles away

Eligible at adjusted local rate
Floating:
Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, or adult units (as needed)
On-Call:
Not required
Overtime:
Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier) Weekly OT after 48 hours (based on multiplier)
