Travel Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Utica, New York

Night shift: 6:30 pm - 7:00 am (please note, block scheduling is not guaranteed)

Qualifications:

Current, active NY RN license with verification from NURSYS At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Demonstrated travel nursing experience required Current AHA BLS certification EPIC electronic medical record proficiency Skills checklist matching Med/Surg specialty Updated resume and driver's license with matching address Willing and able to float to other units as needed Submission must include all requested time off

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients with conditions such as post-surgical needs, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity (post-bariatric surgery) Utilize specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes Work efficiently as part of a collaborative healthcare team Document patient data accurately using EPIC Adapt to various units and changing patient populations as floating is required Adhere to facility policies and demonstrate professionalism at all times
