Hours are 8 AM to 11 AM daily, working at a single elementary school location for the duration of the ESY session.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Current and valid RN license required Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential highly desirable Experience as a school nurse and/or legal nurse background preferred Strong assessment and triage abilities, particularly with pediatric populations Current CPR and First Aid certifications Exceptional communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and uphold confidentiality standards Comfort with younger elementary-aged children and school routines

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily nursing care and health oversight for students attending the ESY program Administer medications, address health emergencies, and attend to minor injuries or illnesses as needed Maintain comprehensive health records and communicate relevant information to school staff Support teachers and staff with health-related concerns or interventions Serve as a resource for students and families regarding health management at school Ensure safety and compliance with school health policies and protocols This contract role is perfect for a nurse seeking part-time hours, a consistent weekday schedule, and the chance to focus on direct student care within a supportive educational setting.
