You will have responsibilities including but not limited to: On Site daily Supervises LPNs Maintains emergency medical kit at each location Develop and implement a plan to have staff and patients, where appropriate, trained in the prescribed in the use of Narcan kit Support patients in the (self) administration of medication Documentation of (self) administration of medication Performs TB and Drug screenings on all patients within 72 hours of admissions Performs routine urine drug screens as directed by the treatment/recovery plan Monitors and records vital signs

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Graduate from an accredited nursing program

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Current NYS license Current certification in CPR, Child Abuse and Infection Control

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least three years related experience Qualified by training, education, and experience in providing nursing care for chemically addicted patients and patients withdrawing from alcohol and or drugs

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in an indoor medical clinical environment. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. Appropriate gloves required.
