Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-PEDS Job Type Contract Dedicated and compassionate registered nurses with pediatric experience are invited to take on a rewarding role caring for young patients in a clinical setting. This opportunity allows you to make a true difference in the lives of children and their families, supporting their healthcare journey with your expertise and empathy.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current, unencumbered RN license At least one year of recent experience in pediatric nursing (RN-PEDS) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide patient-centered care Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond efficiently in urgent situations Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
Perform age-appropriate assessments and administer medications/treatments as ordered Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in pediatric patients' conditions Provide education and emotional support to children and their families Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided Ensure a safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control policies and other safety protocols Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required
