Key Qualifications:
Current, active RN license in the state of New York or compact eligibility. Minimum of one year experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry settings. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced travel assignment and quickly integrate with new teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care in Med Surg and Telemetry units, managing patient assessments, monitoring, medication administration, and documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and apply evidence-based interventions. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, fostering a supportive and informed environment. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements.
