OR Nurse (RN)

Key Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license Demonstrated experience as an Operating Room nurse Proficient in circulating and scrubbing duties Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Familiarity with electronic health records and OR documentation standards BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Schedule:

Contract assignment (duration to be discussed) Rotating weekday shifts with occasional weekend or on-call requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in the perioperative setting Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures, anticipating team needs Monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures Document patient responses, interventions, and progress accurately and promptly Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to optimize outcomes Uphold infection control and safety protocols consistently
