Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Nestled near beautiful upstate New York, Webster offers a scenic destination for travel nursing professionals, blending small-town charm with big-city amenities. Surrounded by tranquil parks and invigorating lakeside trails, Webster is an ideal location to balance the intensity of critical care nursing with peaceful downtime and new adventures. This travel assignment is a unique chance to hone your ICU skills in a brand new, state-of-the-art 12-bed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit specializing in neurocritical care. You'll care for patients with complex diagnoses such as traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other serious neurological conditions. By collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and top-tier clinicians, you'll expand your clinical toolkit while experiencing leadership approaches and care protocols found only in a teaching hospital environment.

Travel assignment Shifts and schedules discussed during interview process
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing support to critically ill neuro patients Monitor and interpret telemetry data to inform urgent clinical decisions Prioritize patient safety and deliver evidence-based interventions Collaborate closely with physicians and allied professionals in a fast-paced, technologically advanced ICU Communicate essential updates to patients' families and participate in care planning
Qualifications:
Active New York RN license (NY license only) Minimum 2 years RN experience with ICU acute care exposure Proven ability to apply strong critical thinking, organization, and clear communication under pressure Telemetry competency required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
