Schedule:

Two 10-hour shifts per week Up to 7 on-call days per four-week period, including one full weekend 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's degree required) Active New York State RN license Minimum of 1 year recent CVOR experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell systems Comfortable floating if census is low

Responsibilities:

Deliver expert care in a 2-bed adult CVOR setting, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in caring for patients with complex cardiovascular diagnoses (CAD, AS, MR) Participate in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care Adhere to evidence-based practices and uphold patient safety standards Be available for floating if required, adapting to diverse patient care needs
