Contract /Full-Time Opportunity Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for an Adult Care/Home Care opportunity serving patients throughout the Bronx Borough. The RN will provide high-quality in-home nursing care, assess patient needs, administer treatments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Provide direct bedside nursing care to pre- and post-surgical patients Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately Perform wound care, infection control, catheter insertion, IV starts, and dressing changes Monitor patient vital signs and report adverse reactions promptly Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment as needed Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative care Collaborate with healthcare teams on discharge planning and continuity of care Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records Follow established nursing standards and protocols
