Contract Opportunity Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Pediatrics/Med-Surg Rehab opportunity in a large acute care hospital setting. The RN will provide high-quality patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Provide direct bedside nursing care to pediatric and rehabilitation patients Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately Perform wound care, infection control procedures, IV therapy, catheter insertion, and dressing changes Monitor patient vital signs and report adverse reactions promptly Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment as required Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatments, and post-operative care Collaborate with healthcare teams on discharge planning and continuity of care Maintain accurate patient documentation, medical records, and charts Adhere to established nursing standards, policies, and protocols
Requirements:
Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification required AHA BLS Certification required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Rehab experience in a large acute care hospital required Most recent experience must be within the last year required For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
