Six of the 30 beds can provide care for medical or surgical stepdown unit care.

Cardiothoracic Surgery Step Down Unit (Lerner Tower 3) Weekender Position Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels. Qualifications Position Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients. 1 year of RN experience required
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of Diploma/Associate's Degree in nursing from accredited program.
License Requirements:
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
