We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide locum services in a pediatric critical care/stepdown setting in Central Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP with advanced pediatric critical care experience looking for consistent night coverage with potential for ongoing placement.

Unit Details:

24-bed stepdown PICU shared between two APPs at night

Patient Population:

Pediatric patients, high volume of pulmonary cases

Epic Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient pediatric critical care in a stepdown PICU setting Perform advanced procedures including intubation and arterial line placement Monitor and manage pediatric patients requiring stepdown-level intensive care Document and update patient records in Epic EMR Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements:

Active Ohio NP license (required)

Board Certification:

Acute Care Certified (required) DEA certification (required) Experience with Epic EMR (required) Minimum experience: Proficiency in pediatric critical care skills Ability to work independently in a stepdown PICU setting
