4 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU (MICU) position in Ohio, requiring active

ICU/MICU

experience and an OH or compact RN license.

Details Night shift position:

3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Adult patient population in a Medical ICU (MICU) setting Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 Every other weekend required Floating to other units within the health system may be required based on need

EMR:

Epic Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required Active

ICU/MICU

nursing experience required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Proficiency with Epic EMR Additional Information Core responsibilities include ventilator management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, IV sedation, neuromuscular blockade, arterial/central/PICC line management, blood product administration, CRRT, dysrhythmia interpretation, 12-lead EKGs, hypothermia protocol, stroke and neuro care, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, ABGs, wound vacs, and infection prevention Equipment used includes NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitors, GE ventilators, patient room lifts, and externalized IV pumps Robust support services available including IV team, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response team, NP, anesthesiology, and CRNA support Navy blue scrubs required Multiple parking options are available to travelers at varying price points, including permit options with shuttle access to the medical center Changing representation between assignments does not require a 30-day break (except for Sterile Processing Techs) 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
