Schedule/Hours:
12-week assignment Day (1:4-5 patient ratio) and night (1:5 patient ratio) shifts, ratios may fluctuate with staffing needs
Key Qualifications:
Current RN license in applicable state/compact Minimum 2 years
SDU/IMCU
experience and prior travel assignment
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
certifications required Dysrhythmia Exam required (study guide provided) Vent management on IMC level essential Confident with BiPAP, CPAP, High flow, HHFNC; comfortable with Cardizem, Amiodarone, nitro, Heparin, Lasix, bumex drips Epic EHR familiarity preferred Strong assessment, communication, and mentoring skills Ability to support diverse patient populations (adults/geriatrics)
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans Safely administer medications, drips, and advanced respiratory support Coordinate multidisciplinary care and patient education Advocate for patient safety and quality improvement Manage patients with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory complexities Guide and support fellow care team members
