As a Travel RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing, you will immerse yourself in dynamic hospital settings, adapting to new protocols and leadership styles. Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; flexible scheduling typically provided by the facility
Essential Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years' recent CVOR experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Solid knowledge of perioperative and operative nursing practices Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in all phases of cardiovascular surgical procedures Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Monitor patient responses and anticipate surgical team needs Document care and surgical activities accurately and promptly Ensure all CVOR equipment is prepared, operated, and maintained safely Educate patients and families regarding pre- and post-operative care
