Work Hours:
3pm-11pm $2000 sign-on bonus!
Starting Hourly Pay:

What does a Registered Nurse do at the Veterans Homes? A Registered Nurse (RN) is a direct care leader who provides clinical oversight, delivers nursing care, and ensures residents receive safe, high-quality treatment. The RN assesses resident needs, administers medications, monitors health, and coordinates care with the medical team while also guiding and supporting LPNs and Therapeutic Program Workers (CNA/STNA) on the unit. Assesses resident needs; develops and updates care plans Administers medications and treatments as prescribed Performs daily rounds; monitors and documents resident condition and progress Completes RN assessments (admissions, re-admissions, quarterly, as needed) Responds to medical emergencies (e.g., first aid, CPR) Leads assigned unit or shift; directs daily operations Delegates tasks and provides guidance to RNs, LPNs, and support staff Supports staff training, onboarding, and performance Maintains accurate documentation, medication records, and reports Coordinates appointments with outside providers Participates in team meetings and quality improvement efforts Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Requires current licensure as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Ohio Revised Code.
