Job Duration:
At least 3 Months from projected start date with possible extensionSchedule:
2nd shift(2pm-12AM or 2pm-2am) and 10-12 hours shifts- Must be flexible with shift/hours and days as it could change due to the needs of the facility Pay Range
- ($33/hour
- $37/hour)
Job Duties In Order Of Importance:
Delivers comprehensive professional nursing care to students, inmates, or residents in state-operated facilities, including assessment, monitoring, documentation of symptoms, and implementation of prescribed treatment plans. Administers medications (including controlled substances and narcotics), immunizations, and ordered treatments; performs specialized procedures such as IV therapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, dialysis, blood transfusions, tube feeding, catheterization, suctioning, phlebotomy, and CPR. Conducts routine nursing rounds, monitors restrained or isolated individuals at required intervals, and responds promptly to medical emergencies by providing first aid, coordinating hospital transfers, and consulting physicians as needed. Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans; educates patients on health conditions and preventive care; and assists physicians with diagnostic evaluations when required. Supervises and directs assigned healthcare staff, serves as shift lead when designated, participates in staff development, and supports training and orientation of new employees. Maintains accurate clinical documentation, including medication administration records, incident and accident reports, and Medicaid documentation, while ensuring strict inventory control of medications and medical supplies. Coordinates outpatient appointments, prescription refills, medical examinations, and interdisciplinary communication, while performing administrative duties and serving as a liaison within the organization.Required Documents:
