1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio, requiring OB experience and night shift availability. Details Acute care setting in a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio Labor & Delivery unit with 4 L&D rooms and 6 postpartum rooms, averaging approximately 30 deliveries per month All staff are cross-trained across labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week Every other weekend required Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines EMR system: TruBridge (Evident/CPSI) and Centricity 13-week contract Requirements Active OH RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; 3+ years of OB experience strongly preferred BSN not required Additional Information Cross-trained responsibilities include labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum care 24 hours of orientation provided Unit staffing aligns with AWHONN guidelines
