Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract A skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room (OR) is needed for a contract opportunity. In this dynamic surgical setting, you will play a key role in patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Experience as an OR Nurse, including scrubbing and circulating BLS and ACLS certification (current/valid) In-depth knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe patient care throughout procedures Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols Monitor patient status, anticipate surgeon needs, and respond swiftly to changes Provide education, comfort, and support to patients and families before and after procedures Uphold all safety and regulatory standards in the
