Day Shift | 3x12 Hours Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Medical Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and specialized medical management in a fast-paced acute care setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and patient status changes Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery Maintain accurate and timely documentation Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and patient safety guidelines Required Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Nursing Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License BLS Certification (AHA) ACLS Certification (AHA) NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred/required upon hire Experience in Stepdown, PCU, Telemetry, or Acute Care setting preferred Preferred Qualifications BSN preferred Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities For more details contact at mdeshpande@navitashealth.com About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
