Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours 12-hour PM shifts Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation Position Highlights Care for adult and geriatric populations within a 29-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit Typical patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6, specifically nights Patient population includes ortho, neuro, and telemetry cases Hands-on exposure to wounds vacs, PICC/central lines, BiPAP/CPAP/High Flow oxygen delivery, and monitoring/maintaining non-titratable drips Collaborate closely with skilled ancillary staff and benefit from efficient lab support Required Qualifications Current RN license (multistate/compact eligible) Minimum two years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience Proficient in managing insulin drips BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required Completion of Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided) Previous travel nursing not required Must be able to verify and interpret telemetry strips in EPIC Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing Telemetry, critical care, or progressive care certifications (CCRN, PCCN) Experience with advanced airway modalities and hemodynamic monitoring Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Serve as primary liaison for patient care coordination Administer medications safely and accurately Prioritize and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions Support patients and families, advocating for their care needs and choices Travel Nursing Advantages Enjoy premium compensation and a benefits package that includes healthcare coverage, 401(k) with employer match, and job security Tax-advantaged housing and meal stipends to maximize your take-home pay Dedicated travel assistance for a stress-free relocation and ongoing support throughout your assignment Advance your career while savoring new adventures in Lorain. to embark on a meaningful professional and personal journey! #p31
