Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic perioperative environment and provide exceptional care as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. In this role, you'll collaborate with skilled surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your commitment, attention to detail, and nursing expertise will play a vital part in delivering safe and effective care within the OR setting.
Skills & Experience:
Active Registered Nurse license (RN) with eligibility to practice Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing roles for diverse surgical procedures Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Experience with EMR systems and surgical documentation
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to case requirements Assess and monitor patients' conditions throughout surgical procedures Adhere to sterile techniques and infection control protocols Communicate effectively with the surgical team to anticipate and address patient needs Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding procedural care Maintain accurate and timely records of interventions and patient responses
