Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room and play an integral role in supporting surgical teams throughout every phase of operative procedures. Key Qualifications:
Active RN license with authorization to practice Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting Proficiency in perioperative nursing best practices across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare the surgical suite and ensure all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and sterile Scrub and circulate as needed during surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia responses, and overall well-being during operations Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Provide post-anesthesia care and support for safe patient recovery Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times This contract role is ideal for adaptable, detail-oriented RNs who are passionate about supporting patients through critical procedures and advancing their operating room expertise.
