This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced nursing professionals to provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts, ensuring continuity of care across various clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered services. This position is perfect for nurses seeking flexible weekend hours while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record. Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and medication management for acute and chronic conditions. Provide wound care, ostomy care, and catheterization with strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards. Support patients with complex needs such as dementia, memory care, behavioral health issues, or those requiring hospice or palliative care. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Support laboratory specimen collection, processing, and basic diagnostic evaluations to aid in timely clinical decision-making. Educate patients and families on health coaching topics such as medication administration, nutrition, pain management, and discharge planning.
