RN Weekend Supervisor

We are looking for an RN with excellent nursing and customer service skills to work as a Weekend Supervisor EVERY Saturday and Sunday for a total of 18 hours a week. Schedule will be discussed at interview. MUST have a heart for the elderly, be up-to-date on nursing skills and have experience in LTC. Paid Weekly! • Supervise nursing staff; ensure attendance, breaks are being given, residents are cared for, disciplinary action if necessary and that tasks are being completed
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
• Assist with physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing
• Perform basic life support measures in emergency situations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide case management services to patients and their families
• Assist with discharge planning ``` Skills ```
• Experience with picc lines, IVs, hydration therapy, wound vacs are a plus, but we'll teach you if your skills are less than stellar right now!
• Ability to perform physical examinations and assist with diagnostic evaluations
• Knowledge of basic life support techniques and ability to respond to emergencies
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
