Shift Needs:
6PM TO 6AM Every other weekend off Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Skilled Nurse, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance quality of life. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, utilizing your deep understanding of physiology and anatomy to support patients' health needs. Your dedication to maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation will ensure the highest standards of confidentiality and record-keeping. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills in medical terminology, patient care, and medical records management will be truly valued and continuously developed. Duties Deliver personalized patient care by assessing individual health conditions and implementing appropriate nursing interventions Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with medical procedures in accordance with physician orders Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans based on physiological and anatomical assessments Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions Ensure proper management of medical records, including charting, filing, and updating patient information securely Adhere strictly to medical terminology standards to facilitate clear communication among healthcare providers Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or hospital setting Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess and document patient conditions Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient privacy at all times Excellent skills in medical documentation and record management using electronic health record systems Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Commitment to ongoing professional development in nursing practices and healthcare standards
