Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine acuity levels. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medications for pain management, following strict aseptic techniques. Manage airway patency using advanced techniques such as ventilator support and oxygen therapy; respond promptly to airway emergencies. Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory tests, specimen collection/processing, and utilize EMR systems for precise documentation. Execute triage procedures to prioritize patient care based on severity; coordinate rapid response efforts for trauma or critical care cases. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols while maintaining accurate medical records and ICD coding for billing purposes. Requirements At least 2 years of experience working in emergency room.
