Leadership Opportunity Salary:
 $90k-$105k/yr. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Minimum 2 years of management experience required Minimum 3 years of hospice experience required Experience supervising clinical staff in home health or hospice is required Experience working with geriatric patients Knowledge of hospice regulatory requirements and compliance standards Reliable transportation and current auto liability insurance Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Oversight & Program Management Provides expert guidance and assistance to staff in all matters relating to the delivery of hospice services to assure that quality standards are maintained. Implements all policies and procedures among health-related staff. Oversees all activities relevant to the professional services furnished, including the development of qualifications and the assignment of personnel. Manages and evaluates the hospice clinical program to ensure quality of service and maintenance of health service policies and standards. Performs annual performance evaluations of all staff. Provides supervision of hospice staff either directly or through delegation to qualified personnel. Assists the Administrator and IDG in the development of the philosophy and objectives of the agency. Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Ensures timely submission of clinical documentation either directly or through delegation to qualified personnel. Provides for maintenance of nursing and medical supplies and equipment. Is available, or ensures a similarly qualified alternate is available, at all times during operating hours. Receives and processes physician orders and communication from the field, or delegates responsibility to qualified personnel. Serves as back-up in the absence of the Administrator. Works cooperatively with the Administrator to publicize services and maintain community relations. Participates in the recruitment, training, and retention of qualified professional staff. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Exhibits critical thinking abilities and applies them for continuous improvement of services and the agency. Uses own knowledge and experience base and other resources as necessary to make logical decisions and solve problems. Continuously analyzes work processes and implements processes for improvement. Leadership Responsibilities Uses leadership position to set positive, attainable expectations, objectives, and goals for others within the organization. Takes action to enforce rules, including the use of disciplinary action as necessary. Empowers others by sharing responsibility to encourage a deep sense of commitment and ownership. Supervises, guides, and directs clinical staff in the areas of policy and operation, caseload management, and personnel management. Demonstrates the ability to make decisions independently that benefit the agency as a whole based on the identification of key or underlying issues. Travel Requirements Moderate degree of travel for supervision of staff, patient care, public relations, and marketing activities. Must have reliable transportation and agency-required liability insurance.
