Registered Nurse (RN) Memorial Pain Surgery Center Oklahoma City, OK Job Details PRN From $35 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Pain medicine Preoperative patient preparation RN License Monitoring and managing IVs Healthcare infection prevention and control expertise Attention to detail Perioperative care Emergency medicine Patient interaction Surgical nursing expertise Full Job Description Job Summary We are looking for a PRN registered nurse (RN) to join or team at a new, startup Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC). We require prior experience in one of the following: OR circulating, Pre-op, Post-op, ICU or ER. Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse at our ASC, you will be responsible for:
Direct Patient Care :
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Perform IV insertion and manage infusion therapy to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Patient Assessment and Monitoring :
Conduct thorough assessments of patients and continuously monitor their conditions. Document any changes in patient status accurately and promptly.
Infection Control :
Maintain high standards of infection control in compliance with healthcare regulations to ensure patient safety.
Patient Education :
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care to empower them in their health management. Requirements To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
Licensure :
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience :
Previous experience in
OR, ICU, or ER Clinical Skills :
Proficient in IV insertion, infection control, pain management, and acute care practices. Familiarity with Preoperative (PreOp), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and circulating nurse skill sets.
Communication :
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Attention to
Detail :
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
