Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm How you'll make an impact in this role:
Comprehensive Patient Monitoring:
Assess baseline health, review diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, stress tests), and track vital signs or cardiac rhythms to identify early warning signs of disease progression or complications.
Medication Titration & Management:
Administer and adjust heart medications under cardiologist supervision, monitor for side effects, and educate patients on self-managing complex drug regimens.
Targeted Patient Education:
Empower patients to manage chronic conditions through education on lifestyle modifications, sodium restriction, exercise guidelines, and early symptom recognition.
Care Coordination & Support:
Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries and triage, coordinate care with the healthcare team, and provide emotional support to patients and families. What minimum qualifications you'll need: Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required. Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional requirements you'll need: Cardiovascular or Cardiac experience a plus 2+ years of bedside nursing preferred Life at
