$2,364/40 hrs Contract travel opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join Samaritan Health Services' Hospice/Palliative team. Evergreen Hospice provides compassionate, patient- and family-centered care across Linn, Benton, Marion, Polk, Lincoln, and Tillamook counties, delivering services in home settings including private residences, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and adult foster homes.
Key responsibilities:
Provide intermittent skilled nursing visits focused on pain and symptom management. Participate in 24-hour on-call nursing coverage as scheduled. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members (medical social services, counseling, spiritual support, hospice aides, and trained volunteers). Facilitate medication and equipment delivery as appropriate. Support patients' families and provide bereavement resources.
Requirements:
Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license at time of submission. Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Minimum 1 year nursing experience. Join a team committed to dignified, comprehensive end-of-life care in community settings.
